Jacob Majnemer
DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTION

A graduate of the Israel Institute of Technology in 1978, Mr. Majnemer began his career practicing architecture in Israel until he relocated to the United States in 1980. Jacob Majnemer was a Project Architect for Beyer Blinder Belle (BBB), Architects and Planners from 1981-1989. While at BBB, he directed the production team for a variety of residential projects and was often involved in the supervision of construction. Projects at BBB included a high-end condominium on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a rental building on West 80th Street and Broadway with a large retailer on the street level, and two 28-story residential towers in Hartford, Connecticut. Jacob Majnemer's expertise includes the re-use and conversion of existing structures into residential buildings. At BBB, he also directed project teams for the conversion of a Beth Israel Hospital building in Manhattan, the Lifesavers Factory Building in Port Chester, New York and a light manufacturing facility in Jersey City, New Jersey into condominiums.

Jacob Majnemer was a project Architect at Schuman Lichtenstein Claman Efron (SLC) from 1990-1998. While at SLC, he directed the project team responsible for the base of the Millennium Towers at 67th Street and Broadway in Manhattan, including the coordination of core and shell construction with a multiplex theater (including IMAX) tenant, the Reebok Health Club and other retail tenants. 

His work at SLC included the project management of the conversion of two Landmark office buildings in lower Manhattan, 71 Broadway (22 stories) and 21 West Street (46 stories), into residential rental buildings and the construction of a new residential building, 205 East 80th Street. He also directed the project team for the construction documents for: 491-495 West Street, new luxury condominiums on the West Side of Manhattan, and the conversion of an existing printing facility in TriBeCa into condominiums.

Since joining Peter DeWitt Architects in 1998, Jacob Majnemer has managed the production of 124 Hudson Street; a nine-story new condominium building in the Tribeca West Historic District. He directed the production of 333 River Street; a 500-unit residential project located on the waterfront in Hoboken New Jersey, which includes residential, retail and parking. Currently, Mr. Majnemer is overseeing the construction of Grove Pointe, which includes 525 residential units and the first phase of Trump Plaza, which includes a 55 story 440-unit residential tower.
